You have a larger connector capable of communicating with all the pins at once, but you need to be aware that more pins means more troubleshoting for that intermittent connection. I ended up bending the three pins (comm, positive and negative) to get the connection. My biggest problem was with the intermittent connections at the 38-pin plug and at the serial input port inside the box. Granted, they are not consise, and you need some level of intuition to recognize that, even though the installer says 'did not install correctly', proceed with the steps outlined in the readme file.
